Sam Smith: In The Lonely Hour
(Make It to Me; Not the Only One; I’ve Told You Now)
Ed Sheeran: X
(Don’t; Runaway; Thinking Out Loud)
Love these two albums right here.
AHHHHH!!!! I was very excited when I saw this outside my window. This was touchdown/first stop on day 1 at Beijing Capital International airport.
The airport was huge. HUGE. I was in awe of the interior. There’s actually a meaning behind the structure. It was in relation with the fish and the turtle and surprisingly the ceiling looked like fish scales! And oh, there’s a fountain somewhere in the airport.
Peach tree flowers! They’re all over the city which was awesome!
Beijing is really beautiful. I would like to work, heck, live here in the future. Who wants to go with me? Haha! The weather is just perfect, the food was different but good and even healthy and I love that they have bike lanes everywhere! I really hope they do something about the smog. It really triggered my asthma plus all the cotton that was floating everywhere.
Coming up is the rest of the day’s tour. I have a LOT of photos so I’ll break it down to mini posts. See you soon!XO
Ola! Major backlog! I had the most fab summer vacay ever last April. First stop was Tagaytay and if you’ve been following me on twitter/instagram, I think you know where I was traveling. Well, as soon as we arrived we went to Tagaytay and stopped at this one place called People’s Park in the Sky.
Classic tourist family picture
It was just a relief to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the traffic (which was horrible!!) and the heat (the worst!!)!! The cold wind was a treat!
There’s actually two ways to get to the top. You can either walk if you’d like or ride the jeepney. It’s kind of a long walk but it’s definitely worth it. Oh and bring a cap or an umbrella if you guys don’t wanna get baked.
At the entrance/exit, you’ll find a lot of vendors selling food. You guys have to try pinipig! It’s the green thing in the picture. I loved it! And they have the sweetest pineapples ever! You definitely have to try them. They sell them plenty in the area and they slice them up for you too.
When we got back to the city, it was dark already (again, traffic). We went straight to Vikings at SM Mall of Asia for dinner.
Long story short..I was very full. Very very full I tell you. They’ve got a buffet with so many to choose from you kinda don’t know what to eat first. Haha!
More travel diaries to come soon!! This was just on the day we arrived and it was a good week of adventure.
How’s your summer so far? XXO
